Calling All 3rd-5th Graders!
is the place for you this summer!
Company level is for those students who will have just completed grades 3-5. The Company Campers describe camp as “cool school” where singing, dancing, and acting are the subjects. It is a place where off-stage character is just as important as on-stage character. It is a place where you are accepted for the person you are and the person you want to be.

Meet the Company Staff:
Paula Brekken – Paula, mezzo soprano, lives in Olathe, KS with husband Mike of 15 years and their 3 daughters. She is honored for this to be her 15th summer of camp! Currently she is in her 15th season with the Grammy winning Kansas City Chorale, is choral assistant at Olathe Northwest HS, and has been director of music at Crossroads Church in Overland Park for 22 years. In January of 2007 Paula was chosen to participate in the professional choral workshop in New York through the Carnegie Hall Weill Institute with distinguished conductor Helmuth Rilling at Carnegie Hall. Upon graduation from UMKC Paula taught vocal music in the public schools in Missouri and Kansas for 7 years at the middle and high school levels. She is the recipient of the very first Prelude Award given to exceptional music teachers from the Missouri Choral Directors Association, and the Outstanding First Year Teacher Award, given by the Missouri Teachers Association.
Jessica Luppino-McCarty – Jessica is a fifth grade teacher at Forest View Elementary in the Olathe School District. She has spent every summer with her Camp Center Stage/StageworX family since 1998, and couldn’t imagine spending her summer any other way. When Jessica is not teaching decimal division or directing shows, she enjoys playing piano and teaching her Border Collie new tricks.
